Almond Butter Chickpea Blondies
These guys are probably one of the easiest baked goods to make, and one of my most popular recipes that you guys have been making the most of! They are higher in protein as they have chickpeas in them and also sans gluten. I hope you enjoy this super simple treat, and if you do end up making them please tag me in your photos so I can see!

ALMOND BUTTER CHICKPEA BLONDIES
1 can chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
1/4 cup + 1 Tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup smooth almond butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1/3 cup almond flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 chocolate bar (chopped) + a couple heavy hand loads of chocolate chips
Method: Preheat the oven to 350 and grease an 8 x 8 baking tray. Throw everything into a food processor except the chocolate and blend until smooth (we don’t want hummus blondies here!). Fold in the chocolate chips. Smooth the batter in the baking tray and add extra chocolate on top of you like. Bake 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool and cut into 8 squares! Store in a container for up to 3 days (but they probably won’t last that long) in the fridge!
